Perpetual Existence
Through pseudoscience, chance and curiosity, this work investigates artifacts of existence and what is left behind when we cease to exist in a conscious state. With the passage of time, our physicality proceeds into a new realm through processes of decomposition and decay. These found relics are an investigation into what happens after death, and live in a paradox of life and death and time and timelessness. I do not mean to insist on the inevitability of death, but rather to investigate its characteristics.
With this work, I wish to highlight and celebrate the transitory nature of life and memory.
